Practical Info

Maui’s main airport is the Kahului Airport (OGG). Depending on where you are staying, the island also has the Kapalua Airport (JHM) located in the northwest and the Hana Airport (HNM) located on the east coast.

You will not find any true all-inclusive resorts in Hawaii. The area is very open and “shareable” to everyone. The resorts are in close proximity to each other and accessible to all. Because of these circumstances, it is difficult to offer a fully all-inclusive stay. But don’t let that discourage you—rather, embrace it! This allows you to see more of the island, take in views from different resorts, try food and drinks at another, and explore a variety of beaches!

It’s very common and efficient to rent a car in Maui. Driving around the island is very easy, most resorts offer parking, and it takes away the stress of figuring out daily transportation to all the sights you want to see.
